Joy Hwang joined Infra Pipes Solutions in 2025 as North American Director of Human Resources. She oversees people strategy across Canada and the U.S., focusing on workforce planning, organizational development, talent, compliance, and a safe, supportive workplace culture.
With more than 20 years of HR leadership experience across MedTech, SaaS, and manufacturing, Joy has scaled organizations through multi-site operations in both Canada, U.S. and Europe. She began her career in talent acquisition, later playing a pivotal role at Intelex Technologies in doubling headcount and supporting one of Canada’s largest tech acquisitions of the decade. At eSight Corp., she built the HR function from the ground up and partnered with the executive leadership team to commercialize a breakthrough MedTech product across North America. Most recently, she founded Coalesce Consulting, advising companies on HR strategy, DEIB, and organizational design.
Joy holds an Honors Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto and a Postgraduate Certificate in Human Resources Management. She has been recognized as a Top HR Leader in Canadian Tech (2023) and helped her teams earn multiple Great Place to Work® designations. She is also active in community service, supporting refugee aid, medical missions abroad, and local organizations empowering newcomers and young women.
