CSO Detention

Storm/Wastewater Storage

Stormwater and CSO Detention and Flow Systems.

Detention or stormwater storage systems are often used in reducing peak flow rates, which can overwhelm sewers, treatment plants or cause excessive soil erosion. Underground or buried storage facilities have been used extensively for Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) mitigation allowing for better control and management of stormwater. Weholite CSO is ideal when considering new installs or expansion of existing systems. Offering large volumes with flexibility in design, configuration and access structures, Weholite CSO will not corrode, rust or tuberculate, providing exceptional performance over its 100- year design life. Where foot prints are small, Weholite CSO systems can be stacked, increasing volumes, while reducing project installation costs.

When starting your project, Infra Pipe works with you vetting designs, creating models and ensures that any selected solution meets with success by way of our in-depth Finite Element Analysis conducted by our engineering group. When a design is approved by a client,  a set of fabrication drawings are developed for all structural elements such as manholes, fittings and reducers, including installation instructions. Weholite systems are constructed using Weholite, Wehopanel and in some cases Sclairpipe, enabling a large array in design, innovation and solution offering.
